Glastonbury 2024 Ticket Sales Suspended
More than 100,000 tickets have been sold on the resale websites Viagogo and StubHub.
Glastonbury Festival organisers have suspended ticket sales for this year's event after more than 100,000 tickets were sold on resale websites Viagogo and StubHub.
The festival, which is due to take place from June 26-30, said it was "extremely concerned" about the number of tickets being sold on resale sites for "vastly inflated prices".
In a statement, Glastonbury Festival said: "We are aware that a significant number of Glastonbury 2024 tickets have been resold on secondary ticketing sites for vastly inflated prices. This is against our terms and conditions and we are extremely concerned about the impact this is having on our fans.
"We have therefore taken the decision to suspend ticket sales while we investigate this matter further.
"We would like to remind fans that the only official way to purchase Glastonbury tickets is through our website.
"We will provide further updates as soon as we have more information.
"Thank you for your understanding."
Viagogo and StubHub have been contacted for comment.
